Exploring The Garden By The Bay at a Rainy Day

First of all, most of us woke up at 5.A.M. Soon after that, we assembled at the restaurant at 7A.M to have a breakfast with some menus from the hotel such as sausage, porridge, etc. As soon as we finished our breakfast, some of us went back to prepare before we were ready to the Dunman High School. We head out at 8.A.M with the weather her not in our favour, it was pouring so we had to use our umbrella and the other people used it too, some of them also used raincoat.

Edward: “Personally, umbrella is quite simple and I also use jacket to protect myself, so it will not be complicated.”

Elina: “I think umbrellas are way more efficient than bringing a raincoat. Since it can double as a protector from the rain and also sun!”

Jens: “It was raining so I had to use my raincoat. It was kind of tricky to put on my raincoat while carrying my backpack but I managed to do it.

Britney: ” I brought an umbrella, but sadly it’s broken. I still use it anyway, since for me it’s simpler than wearing rain coats.”

As a result of that, the floor of bus was wet at that time.

@DUNMAN HIGH SCHOOL—
Edward: “I got 2 buddies who named Zi Hang and Min Yi. They really helped me with the subjects and materials so I could understand it well. Besides, they also asked me to go for school tour so I could look for the sport hall, canteen, auditorium, and the others. But for me my favorite place is the sport wall because it looks clean and wide.”

Elina: “I was introduced to the canteen, where they have various foods starting from Thailand to Malaysia. In Dunman, there are many buildings that are both very huge and tall. We ended our study activity at 14.00 sharp.

Jens: ” I started my 1st day in Dunman High School. My buddy’s name is Esther. She is really friendly, so our conversation will not be awkward. Although we learn about economics, I don’t really understand about it since I didn’t take economics lesson in Petra. Besides, I learn about GP(General Paper) that I could learn about making essay introduction. Then, we had P.E inside the classroom because of the bad weather. I learned about the rules of tchoukball and the teacher played a video. Before recess, my buddies introduced us to the whole class. During recess, my buddy took me to the canteen and shower me lots of different stalls there, so I bought a chicken sausage burger and matcha latte.”

Nadya: “Although I had trouble with understanding what my buddy was saying in the beginning, I eventually got used to her accent and our conversations flowed more nicely. I was personally impressed with how big the school was and the food in the canteen was also not bad. We didn’t join our buddies for all of their classes because we need to go at 2.P.M.”

Britney: ” My buddy is really tall ?. She talked a lot, that’s why I think she’s so friendly. Today, her chosen subject had a test, so she asked me to follow a good friend of her to other subject’s lecture.”

We learned a lot of economy from how to create an explanatory journal and indirect tax. Aside from that, we also learned about chemistry about entalpy in the auditorium, but for some of us, it was not really hard because we have learnt it before in Indonesia. Last, we learned Biology about DNA and RNA, some of us thought that was kinda hard and complicated because there were a lot of theories.
As soon as we left the Dunman High School, we went to the Garden By The Bay. At the Flower dome in 30 minutes, we could see a lot of flowers that were beautiful include Sakura that would be there for temporary while we could breath the fresh air also the cold made us feel comfy. We could feast our eyes everywhere and we wouldn’t got disappointed As a result of that, we took a lot of shots there.

@GARDEN BY THE BAY-
Next, we went to the Cloud Forest that were cold enough because at the basement there were burning branches and the other trashes activity, so there will be an energy;Hence, that energy will be spread out through some pipes that were hidden around the plants there. Besides, we looked and saw for a lot of Avatars; Thus, we imagined that we were inside the Pandora, Na’Vi world. Besides, there was a massive waterfall that was 6 floors tall with the plants that were forestry to the max.
Henceforth, we shopped for some souvenirs at the Garden By The Bay’s Shop and Shake Shack to buy some burgers. During our moment to buy the Shake Shack, we heard that Winnie lost her wallet, she had a mental breakdown and retraxing every place she went. Suddenly she remembered that the last time, she saw it was in her jacket and found it inside the bus.

After exploring the city—
Then, we went to the Straits Chinese Signature. At that place, we ate a lot of various foods such as french fries, fruit, omelette, fishball, fish, chicken.
After that we got our dinner where most of them were fried foods, we went back to our hotel with a short briefing from Mrs.Hariyati, we said our goodnights to each other.

Edward: “In the next day, I hope I can talk more with my buddies and share a lot of things that I haven’t told them yet.”

Elina: “Highlight Of The Day: Flower Dome. We spent time together, taking photos together. Even though, our schedule today in Dunman was mixed up and didn’t go as it has planned before, we still enjoyed ourselves there.
