Greetings everyone. Today we didn’t go to school, because it is Good Friday. We woke up at 6.00 A.M., took a bath and got dressed with yellow T-shirts for today’s  dress code. Today was our lucky day because we got a chance to have our breakfast at the hotel because for last preview days we had breakfast at school. After finishing  breakfast, we went to our room to pack our luggage because because today is our last day in Singapore. We’re going to check out from hotel at 10 AM, so we still had time to take rest.

Before going back to Indonesia, we we went to Science Centre Singapore. It was so cool  because we could explore many things about science. We also watched an electricity show, it was an amazing show. After that, some of us bought souvenirs, too. Times went so fast, it’s already time to have our luck so we went to Marina Square.

We enjoyed our lunch at Seoul Garden Restaurant, which is an all-you-can-eat restaurant in Korea. The food was so delicious, we even ate ice cream there. After lunch, Mr Jimmy, the tourist guy, gave us free time. We went to a toy store to buy things. In there, three of our friends bought cards. After that, we walked to the meeting point where Mr Jimmy was waiting us. Soon after all of us gathered, we took the bus to the airport. We felt happy and sad at the same time. We were happy because we can meet our family again in Indonesia however, we have to leave Singapore and our friends so it makes us sad. Around 30 minutes, we arrived at Changi Airport. We took our baggage, then we went inside the airport.  After our passport were checked, we are allowed to go to the main airport room. Then, we walked to the immigration and waited for 30 minutes. Finally…. Time to departure, we were very happy. After 2 hour, we arrived at Juanda with a smooth landing. We were picked up by a bus to the immigration area. After we’re done doing the immigration process. We were supposed to do baggage claim but  it was delayed so we had to wait. A few moments later, we already got our baggage and ready to meet our family outside. We are so happy meeting our family after a week apart.

Joining Petra Exchange Programme is very amazing experiences for us. Not only learn about academic lesson, but also teach us about respect, caring, responsibility, and independence. We will remember and cherish the moment forever.  Thank you Petra for giving the opportunity to join the PEP, so that we can have a valuable and memorable experiences.

Today was the last day in Singapore. It was so exciting because we didn’t need to wake up early. We woke up at about 7 a.m, had showered.  Around 8 a.m we got breakfast at the restaurant on the 4th fourth floor. The restaurant served many kinds of food, drinks and fruits. After breakfast, we continued packing our things in the luggage and checked everything before leaving. At 10 a.m we were ready in the lobby and went to the science centre by bus.

In Science Centre, We  had so much fun! We saw amazing optical illusions and unique places, such as mirror maze, lazer maze, and others! The mirror maze was very confusing, but we could finish it! Next we went to the Electric City! The Electric City was huge! We walked around and saw so many electric experiments, there was even a funny dancing magnet! Next, we found the map and decided to go to hall B where there were so many fun places like Climate, Know Your Poo, even Phobias! Eventough it was weird or scary, we had so much fun together. In Know Your Poo, we saw how poo were processed, and in phobias, there were types of phobias like going to haunted houses and roller coasters. So interesting! After we came out from the Know Your Poo and the Phobia place we saw an Experiment in the Electric City. Their experiment involved lightning electricity. They told us about how lightning was studied and how we had it in our houses until now. Here the show was so fascinated. Many of us were thrilled seeing the cool show! Then, We went to souvenir shop, however, we only had limited time to shop. Then we went to the bus and continued for lunch.
At 12.45, we arrived at Seoul Garden for lunch. It was at Tampines Central 5. The restaurant prepared an All You Can Eat Korean Food. In this place, we could eat whatever we wanted until we’re full. The food were really yummy and delicious. We all really enjoyed it. After that we went to the bus and went to the airport.

We departed by Garuda plane, GIA number 855 around 7.15 p.m and arrived at Juanda airport at 9 p.m. At the plane we had dinner. There were 2 choices of food, they are curry rice and black peper beef bihun vermicelli. For drinks, we have mineral water, tea, juice, coffee. The announcement said that the weather wasn’t so good, we should fasten the seatbelt. Thanks God, at 9 p.m we could arrive. However, it took so long in taking our luggages. Meanwhile, Our parents had been waiting for us. At last, We could get our luggages and directly went back to our homes. We were so exhausted but we were so happy to follow the entire activities.

We wish that someday, we can be together and have some fun.

Today is our last day in Singapore, we’re a bit sad but also happy because we would see our family again after 6 days in Singapore. So, today we put our things in our suitcase, we had to make sure nothing was left. Mr. Jo came to make sure all okay. Then we had breakfast on the 4th floor. It was so crowded! We had our breakfast and it was delicious, there were : salad, toast with jam, eggs, sausages, porridge, tea , milk and so on.
After eating, we went to our room and checked again. Mr. Jo also checked our bags and things too. After that, we 1could go down met other teachers and Mr. Jimmy. The driver and Mr. Jo helped us to put the suitcase in the luggage. First, we went to SG Science Centre, we learned about science in a fun way. There was a room where we could face many kinds of phobias.
It was a lot of fun. We tried a lot of media or tools there. We learned about disaster and a lot of more things. There was a science show at the end, an electricity show with some attraction. After science center, we went to our bus and shopped in Marina One. The boys bought some Pokemon cards, they loved it ! Not too long, we went for lunch, we had barbeque and some soup. The ice cream was nice too! After eating we went to our last trip which was the airport, Chang-I. We said goodbye and thank you to Mr.Jimmy. We did all things and checked in. The flight was at 7 p.m so we waited and wrote this report.
Finally the staff called us to enter. We got into the plane and had our flight.

Highlight of the day : We are so happy because we will see our family and home again.
I wish that we could see our friends and teachers again in the future.

Starting our day, we got up and went down to get breakfast at the 4th floor hotel. It was really delicious, we had fries, soup, rice, and sausages. We then got ready to go and went to the lobby to wait for the bus. Once the bus arrives, all of our luggage was placed in the bus trunk. We arrived at Singapore Science Center and it was really cool. There are illustrations, cool objects, interesting facts, and modern paintings. The fun part is when we entered the mirror maze. All of us was given a pool noodle to test if we were going to the right way. We explored the whole place, and it was really cool. We loved it and hope to go back there, but we are pretty hungry, so
We went to Marina Square. We went straight to go lunch, at Seoul Garden. We ate hot pot and grill. The hot pot was ok and the grill was really delicious. We also took some drink. There is soft drink and there is a lot variant for the tea. After finish eating, we took some ice cream. It is so good.
After done eating we go to a store. It was fun, after we were done shopping we go to an arcade. The kids taught that they can use cash but we have to use the credit card. We were very sad. Then we went to Changi Airport by bus.
After we arrived in Changi Airport, we had to put the suitcases in the baggage. After we put our suitcases, we have time for sit and buy some snack, we were only buy some chocolate. After that, we checked our passport. And then, we filled out a customs questionnaire. After finish filling the questionnaire we went to the waiting room and immigration. Seated in front of our gate. After we been called, we came to the airplane and fly back from Singapore to Surabaya. Finally we arrived at Juanda Airport. We said goodbye for the last time, and went home. We were feeling very sad. And this is the end of our journey.
I hope we can meet each other again as soon as possible.

Greetings everyone. Today is a little sad for us, because today was our last day at Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School. As usual, we woke up at 4.45. We got dressed for our performance then we went to the lobby. At the lobby, the dancers practiced so that our performance later at Pei Hwa would go smoothly. After that, we got our breakfast, we prayed and then we went to the bus. For about 20 minutes, we were already at school.

We did Morning Devotion at the 4th floor, then we did our performance. We sang and danced Surabaya and Rek Ayo Rek. Thank God, It went well. The Pei Hwa teachers and students loved our performance. Later, we went to the canteen to eat our breakfast. At 9.15 our buddies came to pick us up, then we went to the classroom. At 10.45 we had recess. It was so yummy because it was eggs and fish balls. After that, we went to the Hosanna Auditorium to do a farewell goodbye to our buddies. We exchanged our gifts and phone number. We were so sad. Chloe was crying because she was so sad, she even made Ms. Adriana cry too. We were so sad when we had to say goodbye to our buddies, we had to go back to our class. We commited to keep in touch one another. The last day was so fun, and then when finished the lesson at 13.30. Winston said a final goodbye to his buddy, Quan An and hugged him but Winston couldn’t hug and say a final goodbye to his other buddy, Elliott because he was sick. Winston was so sad. Four days in Pei Hwa gave us lots of amazing experiences. We studied together, ate, and played together. We felt welcomed and loved by our buddies, other students and the teachers from Pei Hwa. Thank you Pei Hwa teachers and students…

After class, we walked around Pei Hwa neighbour area and visited Bukit Timah Food Centre. After that, we went to a place where we can learn about transportation. We went to a VR headset simulator as a bus drivers. Selena tried it, she said it was exciting. When she tried it, she looked left and she saw the passengers went into the bus. She was very scared then she screamed so loud. We were all laughing when she screamed. After we finished playing a lot of stuff we had to go to the next location.

The next location was Plaza Singapura. We went there to do shopping. The mall was so cool. After we finished at Plaza Singapura, we went to another Chinese restaurant. We ate fish, chicken, meatballs, and soup. After we finished eating at the restaurant we took a picture outside a luxurious hotel. Then we went back  to the hotel.

Before we went to our room, our teachers told us to tell about what positive things that we got from this programme, reflected on what we did that might make someone sad and committed to do better things after this progamme. Most of us suddenly cried. We hugged, and we felt our friendship grew stronger. We’re also sad because we might not able to see other. However, we believe that we’ll always befriends. After that, we went back to our own rooms. We hope that tomorrow we could have a safe flight to Surabaya. Thank You and God Bless You

Today was the end of our studying at Pei Hwa school. We couldn’t stand to meet our buddies. We directly woke up, got dressed and went downstairs to the lobby. After we had some briefings, we went into the bus and continued to school.

At school, we went to the hall. Teacher started the school day by singing Singapore anthem, the pledge, and Pei Hwa Hymn. In this hall, we had morning devotion about good Friday led by religion teacher. There was a little game too. Jordan, Jesslyn and their buddies played rock, paper and scissors, Jordan made into the final round but he lost with Jesslyn’s buddy, however, in the end, the kids on the stage were given gifts.

After morning devotion, we performed the songs “Surabaya Oh Surabaya, Rek Ayo Rek” with the dancers: Cecilia, Jesslyn, Kezia, Chloe, Celine, in front of the Primary students and teachers. The audiences gave a big applause for us. We’re actually very nervous but we could manage it and did our performance well. After performance, Ms Adriana, Ms Jeane, Ms Yenny and Mr Jo were given souvenirs. They were given four Chinese art bamboos decoration. The designs were: fish, panda, lotus and sakura. After recess time,  we gathered at Hossanna room. We made farewell activities. Collin as the representative from Petra students went in front and did the farewell speech. We exchanged the souvenirs, opened and took photos. On the other hand, Pei Hwa principal, vice principal and Coordinator of PEP got the souvenirs from PETRA too. Frankly speaking, We were pretty sad because we had to get separated with our buddies, left the school. Anyway, although the school was over but our friendship was still everlasting.

Next trip was going to the neighborhood of Bukit Timah. Mr Jimmy, the tour guide told us that there were houses made by Singapore ‘s Government, which were called Kampoeng Spirit. We were amazed by how the Singaporeans care each other. Next, we went to the playground. There were  swings, slides, and many interesting places! We also went along the Food Centre, which was just like the traditional markets we find in Indonesia, and the foods were yummy and hygienic.
Then, we continued the trip to Singapore ‘s Mobility  Service. There, we had some time to play, watch video about the transportation in Singapore, read some books about it, etc. We had so much fun playing together.

Then we went dinner at Simply Peranakan restaurant in Plaza Singapura. We ate fried chicken, vegetables, meatball, soup, and some apples for dessert. All food were very yummy and healthy. The apples were small but sweet. We really enjoyed eating there.

Then we went back to the hotel and did our reports. After that, Ms Adriana told us to reflect ourselves about the good things we had learned during 5 days in Singapore/ Pei Hwa, the bad things that sometimes made others get hurt and the commitment for becoming better and better persons.

Finally, we, Petra friends and teachers, hug each other and said thank you for supporting in sadness and happiness during few days. Suddenly, tears fell down from most of us when we said good bye. We felt like time has gone so fast.

We wish tomorrow we could meet again and play more before going back home.

We woke up and then we prepared our stuffs and took a shower . After that we went down to the 1st floor, then we prayed, after we prayed we walked to the bus then we went to Pei Hwa school. We arrived there and went to the hall to hear about good Friday. It was the time to perform our dances with the song rek ayo rek and Surabaya. We were really nervous! After we were done performing, we went to Hosanna and we took our things with our buddies. We went to our class, we learned some lessons such as: P.E, Math, Science, English, and more. After we learned the lessons, we had recess session at 10.45 a.m., we got coupons  to buy food. After we were done eating, at 11.15 a.m we went to Hosanna auditorium. We exchanged our souvenir with our buddies. It was really exciting, after we exchanged our souvenir with our buddies wr had our farewell ceremony and saying good bye, we were so sad.

We went to our school class to learn more lessons again until 1.30 p.m. After we finished our lessons we went to Hosanna to meet up,after some time we lined up outside. Then we went to the Pei Hwa school’s neighborhood by walking, we went to a children park for our other friends to play it was fun! after that we went to the food center to explore,then we went to the Pei hwa school to sit before going in the bus,then we went to the bus and sit down because were going to Singapore mobilty gallery it was really fun! We had some fun playing games and learning facts it was so interesting! Then  we went back to our bus after that we went to the Singapore plaza we were trying to go somewhere but we accidently went in the wrong direction we were frustrated after that Mr Jimmy sent  us to the right direction. It was long so everyone was exhausted!,When we went back at the same location,we met ms Hariyati and  went to dinner which the name was Simply Peranakan. We went to our table and then we ate. It was delicious! Everyone enjoyed it!,while we were eating some of us were playing guessing games and it was really fun! Outside we took a group picture then we lined up and went to the bus. After about 20 minutes, we arrived at the hotel. We went in and went up to the floor 13, now we are writing this report.

Highlight of the day : the highlight of the day was definitely when we were at Pei Hwa, performing for the students from Pei Hwa.

The wish for tomorrow : We wish we could fly back to Surabaya safe and sound.

Starting our wonderful day, all of us woke up at different times. Some woke up at 4AM, some woke up at 5AM. But none of us are late, so we went down to the lobby and waited for the bus. Once we were at the bus, some of us slept and some of us just talked and watched our phones. When we arrived, we went to class and put our things down, then we went to the Hall and got ready to perform our performance. We were feeling nervous and anxious at that time, but we managed to perform wonderfully. All of us are proud of ourselves for sure! We felt tired after that so we went to drink our water. After that, we went to attend classes and came to the Hosanna Auditorium at 11.15 (after break). When we were at the Hosanna, we spent time with our buddies and took selfies, hug each other, exchange numbers, etc. We enjoyed our time at Pei Hwa. We were really sad we had to leave our buddies, friends, and teachers. We said our last goodbye to our buddies, and we line up to go. We took a walk to some of us we’re sad and some are excited when we walked to Bukit Timah Food Center. In our way the tour guide explained to us about public houses in Singapore. There is also playground for children to play and also mini sports park for seniors and childrens. We also played at the playground and the sports park. It’s very fun. After that we came in to the food center. We look around and exploring the food center. It’s very interesting, we enjoyed exploring. After finish exploring, we came back to Pei Hwa and took our things. Then we went to the bus. And prepared for going to the Land Transport Authority ( LTA ). When we got there, there was many games to play. The kids loved to play it. They explored the places, then when the high schoolers have to go they were really sad. But the elementary students still exploring the places. There are many games for us to play, and there is one game that all of us cannot stop playing! After that, when we have to go to the mall, we all got in the bus and went to the mall. After we arrived to Simply Peranakan Restaurant, we went to one room. In that room there are two tables with 22 chairs. The table can turn around the table. We were so tired today, so we ate very lot of rice. But today, we don’t have many various foods, we just had fried chicken, soup, fried fish, fish ball, vegetable and rice. After we finished our dinner, we waited for the bus. When the bus already arrived, we went to hotel. Today we felt happy. I wish tomorrow we can be happy in our last day at Singapore and go home to Surabaya safely.

Greetings people. Today is a very special day. Why??? You must be wondering. Because today is ?(drum rolls sound) FRIENDSHIP DAY!!!?.
We had so much fun at school. Hari ini sekolah Pei Hwa mengadakan acara khusus dalam rangka memperingati Friendship Day. Semua guru dan siswa berkumpul di hall untuk merayakannya. Dalam kegiatan tsb bbrp guru pei hwa memakai baju dari berbagai negara tetangga. Kami dan guru2 Petra jg ikut berpartisipasi dengan menggunakan pakai tradisonal Indonesia. Selain itu, acara Friendship Day diisi dengan tampilan Story Telling bertemakan Persahabatan. Pesan yg kami dptkan dari kegiatan ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana menjadi sahabat yang baik.
At 9.30 we went to the hall to practice our perfomance later on Thursday. Some of our friends sang and some of our friends danced. We were done practicing at 10.30, so we had to continue our lesson, some of our friends didn’t need to go to class because they’re doing PE like Winston, Kezia and Jesslyn. Then it’s 10.45. It’s the recess time.
After recess, we went to the art room because it was Chinese lesson. We painted on something like Chinese plates made of bamboo. We painted Chinese flowers. There’s so many types of flowers that we could pick. Our buddies picked us up so we went back to our class, but before that, we showed our art works to them. They were shocked because it was so good and we were so happy seeing our buddies again. Then we went to our class. ?(Bells rang) oh it’s time to end the lesson ?. We were so sad.
Ok, we haven’t tell you yet. So we went to S.E.A. Aquarium. We found so many species. There were about 100,000 species more. OMG SO MANY. Then, we went to Vivo city but we didn’t have much time. We went to Song Fa Ba Kut Teh for dinner. After dinner, kami keliling2 Vivo, salah satu outlet yang yang we went to Garrett popcorn to buy popcorn, I think it is obvious to buy popcorn because it says Garrett “popcorn”. Setelah berkeliling, kami Kembali ke hotel. We wish tomorrow we can do our concert smoothly. THANK YOU AND GBU.
