SMA Group 1 – Day 5
Our Final Farewell… Unless…
As usual, we woke up early in the morning. This time we needed to be faster than usual. Ms Hariyanti told us to gather at the café earlier than usual which was at 06:45. The café also opened at 06:55. We rushed to pick some food and ate our breakfast. Once we finished eating, we went outside at our usual pick up place. However, the bus didn’t arrive yet because of the traffic jam so we were told to go back to the lobby. We waited for 15 minutes until the bus arrived and went to Dunman High School.
It was our last day at Dunman High School and exchange about the material there. The materials that we learned were:
Edward : “I studied economy about the elacity, biology about cells, chemistry about hess cycle and mod PE.”
Jens & Britney : “We had CCE class about mental health, mathematic class about substitution, chemistry lecture about Hess’ Law, and biology class about cells.”
Elina: “We had Chemistry at first about electrons and followed by P.E. We also had GP and Project Work.”
Nadya: “Today I was able to join the class for PE in the feild and also econs. It was a less busy day for me and my buddy”
As a memory thing, we gave souvenirs to our buddies from Indonesia and Petra so they could remember us well. Some of us who hadn’t bought Dunman tshirts, bought it today. Henceforth, we said parting words to each other and took some photos as a last words before we left. We r hope we can see each see each other again sometime.
We arrived at Land Transport Authority after we said our goodbyes. In LTA we were let to explore the place by ourselves. We found a survey machine that lets it’s client to get a puzzle! There were people after people queuing up for the machine. Aside from that, there was a lot of things to see there. Especially the games they provide. The LTA was a place to raise awareness for transportation and also to make the young generation to be excited for the future of transport.
After LTA, we all went to Plaza Singapura. We were given an hour to explore the mall with our groups. There was 7 storeys so it was quite big. We looked around the convenience store right outside and then we explored inside. Although we weren’t able to explore each store, we were able to visit the stores we were already eyeing.
We then headed to a restaurant. We had peranakan food for today’s dinner. It was nice, escpecially the fried chicken. We also talked a lot throughout the dinner. We shared about the difference between schools in Indonesia and the ones in Singapore. The Singaporeans are really aware about their studies, even though the teachers don’t usually really keep an eye to them.
As soon as we’ve finished our dinner, we directly went back to the bus to be dropped in takashimaya’s but stop. It’s a really great day today, we had a lot of fun, also heartwarming moments. It’s gonna be our last night staying here in Singapore. We hope our last day, tomorrow can be as great as how today has been.
